The SDK documents the local HTTP interface Connect applications use to read and update courseware while an author is working in it.
Every Connect application talks to a web server hosted inside Impression Scribe. Calls return JSON, XML, or plain text depending on the method, and the same interface serves HTML applications opened in a browser and executable applications launched directly from Scribe.
Read About Connect first for the data types, error codes, application startup sequence, and object model. The three API references then cover the individual methods.

Connect support is built into current versions of Impression Scribe. The SDK ZIP is installed with Scribe under ProgramData\Logicdriven\Impression\Scribe\SDKs and is also available from the support page.
The SDK also ships a managed C# wrapper — in source and compiled form — for executable applications that prefer native objects to raw HTTP responses. See C# Wrapper.
