Everything below works with Impression Scribe and the standard Courseware Engine, with no developer kit:
- Author, preview, and publish lessons as SCORM 2004 or xAPI packages.
- Brand the learner experience with Canvas settings and your own style sheet.
- Adjust navigation, tracking, and lesson processing through the engine’s customization hooks.
- Edit viewer layouts and create your own Storyboard templates.
- Embed interactive HTML, Adobe Animate, and Unity WebGL content in Storyboards.
- Build tools that work alongside Scribe with the free Impression Connect SDK.
Consider a developer kit when you need to change how the engine itself works, beyond what its hooks allow; when your organization maintains its own engine for a program; or when your simulations must exchange lesson data and state with the engine at the source level. Each kit assumes experienced JavaScript or C#/Unity developers.
